Jeanmarie Riccobono
Jeanmarie Riccobono, Music for Young Children teacher, is the Principal Clarinetist for the Traverse Symphony Orchestra and music specialist at The Children’s House in Traverse City. She has performed with numerous orchestras in the United States and Europe and participated in the Spoleto Festival of Two Worlds in Charleston, SC and in Spoleto, Italy. She was the 1996 Grand Prize winner of the Buffet-Boosey and Hawkes International Clarinet Competition. Jeanmarie received her Bachelor of Music degree from the Eastman School of Music and her Master’s of Music from Northwestern University. She is the mother of three children and is married to Tom Riccobono, Instructor of Low Brass at the Interlochen Arts Academy.
