KathrynPetersKathryn Peters enjoyed a very musical childhood.  An Ohio native, she participated in the Cleveland Youth Chorus, as well as her church’s adult choir.  Kathryn continued her music studies at Concordia University in River Forest, IL.  At Concordia, she was a member of the university’s premier vocal ensemble “Kapelle,” which toured both the United States and Eastern  Europe.  Kathryn graduated from Concordia University  with a music education degree for grades K-12.

After graduation, Kathryn served as  K-8 music teacher at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Staten Island, NY.  Several years later, she and her musician husband, Mark, moved to Monett, MO.   Kathryn maintained a private voice studio in Monett and directed the youth choir at St. John’s Lutheran Church.  She recently moved to northern MI with her husband and their family.  She sings in the choir at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Leland, as well as the Traverse Bay Circuit Chorus.

Kathryn is the proud mother of two young daughters.   She is also an avid crafter and runs a home jewelry business.
