Mary Heffron

Mary Heffron has degrees in organ and composition from Manhattanville College (Bachelor of Music), a Master of Music degree from Instituto Pio XII (Florence), and a Master of Arts degree from Mills College. She also has a certificate in all levels of Suzuki piano training from San Francisco State University. Ms. Heffron retired from teaching piano in 2008; she retired from her position as organist and choir director in 2007. She continues to work as an accompanist and substitute organist on a free-lance basis. She has lived in northern Michigan since 2000, having previously worked in the music worlds of California, Hong Kong, and the Philippines.
